About George

George Snodgrass has attended the University of Oregon for Fitness Management and the University of California, Irvine for Dance and has 18 years experience teaching dance and Martial Arts. He is a member of I.D.E.A. and certified Personal Trainer through APEX and the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

George has a strong background in Martial Arts and Dance. Although these are his areas of expertise, he chooses to work with people of all ages and levels (general fitness, special populations, athletes, weight loss), focusing on their needs and goals. He is sometimes known to throw Dance and Martial Arts concepts into his workouts (if his client’s so choose!), because they are fun and benefit all people, including high level athletes; plus it adds a little spice!

George has recently returned to Eugene from Orange County, California where he set up RMA Personal Fitness and was independently training clients in Costa Mesa and Newport Beach. He started a dance studio in Hawaii, and the RMA Kung Fu Academy in Orange, California. He danced in the National Tour of Emmanuel. By special invitation
from Strength and Conditioning Coach Jim Radcliffe, he taught Martial Arts to the University of Oregon Ducks football team.

George believes “Living Well" is ultimately what’s it’s all about, that we must look at all areas of our lives and strive for a comfortable balance so we feel energized and motivated to achieve our fitness goals!

So with that in mind, in his free time, George enjoys exercising (Practicing what he preaches!), dancing, singing, playing guitar, watching movies, spending time with family & friends, enjoying Eugene and reading because it’s enjoyable and he believes it’s important to always continue learning!
